Common treatment areas include:

  • Shoulders
  • Hips
  • Back and neck
  • Elbows
  • Ankles
  • Plantar fascia

Ozone Insufflation

Ozone insufflation delivers ozone through specialized methods, including rectal or vaginal administration, depending on your treatment goals and physician recommendations. These approaches provide alternatives to intravenous administration for selected patients.

Examples may include:

  • Skin and soft tissue applications

What to Expect

Your physician will determine whether ozone therapy is appropriate based on your medical history, symptoms, and treatment goals. Because ozone therapy can be delivered in several different ways, your treatment plan is customized specifically for you.

Why choose Avant Total Health?

Thermography is a radiation-free, non-invasive screening technology that uses infrared imaging to detect temperature patterns and areas of thermal variation throughout the body. Because inflammation and changes in blood flow can influence skin temperature, thermography may help identify areas that warrant further evaluation.

Thermography was cleared by the FDA in 1982 as an adjunctive tool for breast cancer screening and is used alongside—not as a replacement for—other recommended screening methods. It may also be incorporated into evaluations of:

  • Full-body thermal imaging
  • Breast health
  • Thyroid screening
  • Lymphatic congestion
  • Neuromuscular conditions
  • Musculoskeletal concerns
  • Abdominal inflammation
  • Vascular screening

Before Your Appointment

To ensure accurate imaging, all intake forms and preparation instructions must be completed before your appointment.

Please visit www.lincolnthermography.com, select the Appointments tab, review the preparation protocols, and complete or update the BTI intake form prior to scheduling. If these requirements have not been completed before your appointment, your scan may need to be rescheduled.

Personalized evaluations designed to help guide your care.

Autonomic Response Testing (A.R.T.) is a functional assessment tool that Dr. Peterson uses as part of a comprehensive evaluation to better understand your body’s responses and help identify areas that may benefit from further attention. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, A.R.T. is used alongside your medical history, physical examination, and clinical expertise to develop a personalized treatment plan.

Neural Therapy is a complementary treatment that may be incorporated into your care when appropriate. It involves the precise injection of a local anesthetic into specific areas of the body—such as scars, trigger points, or other tissues—to support normal nervous system function and encourage the body’s natural healing processes.

Because every patient is unique, treatment recommendations are individualized and may include A.R.T., Neural Therapy, or other therapies based on your specific health goals and clinical needs.

What to Expect

  • Comprehensive, personalized assessment
  • Physician-guided treatment recommendations
  • Gentle, individualized approach
  • Ongoing monitoring and adjustments as needed

Membership Information

A.R.T. and Neural Therapy are available exclusively to Direct Primary Care members. These therapies are most effective when provided within an ongoing physician-patient relationship, allowing treatment plans to be refined over time as your health changes.

Supporting your body’s natural healing response.

Medical acupuncture combines the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern medical knowledge to help reduce pain, improve function, and support overall health. Using very fine, sterile needles placed at carefully selected points, acupuncture stimulates the body’s natural healing processes and may help regulate the nervous system, improve circulation, and promote relaxation.

Unlike dry needling, which typically focuses on individual muscles or trigger points, medical acupuncture takes a comprehensive approach by considering the whole person and addressing both symptoms and their underlying contributing factors.

Medical acupuncture may help support:

  • Neck and back pain
  • Joint pain and arthritis
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Muscle tension
  • Stress and anxiety
  • Sleep concerns
  • General wellness and relaxation

What to Expect

Treatments are performed in a comfortable, relaxing environment using very thin needles. Most patients experience little to no discomfort during treatment and many find sessions deeply calming. Your treatment plan will be personalized based on your symptoms, medical history, and health goals.

A quick boost for energy and wellness.

Vitamin B12 plays an essential role in energy production, nervous system function, and the formation of healthy red blood cells. For individuals with low B12 levels or increased nutritional needs, B12 injections provide a fast and effective way to replenish this important vitamin.

Many patients choose Vitamin B12 injections to help support:

  • Healthy energy levels
  • Mental clarity and focus
  • Healthy nerve function
  • Red blood cell production
  • Overall wellness

Vitamin B12 is administered as a simple intramuscular injection during your office visit. Most appointments take just a few minutes, making it an easy addition to your wellness routine.

Available Treatment

  • 30 mg Vitamin B12 Injection

Far Infrared (FIR) energy is the wavelength of light that is able to penetrate deeply into the body to enhance micro circulation by pulsating water molecules. This action results in such benefits as improved circulation and cardiovascular fitness, increased muscle relaxation, relief of pain and joint stiffness, and improved skin texture. Additionally, it boosts metabolism, which promotes weight loss, cleanses and detoxifies the body, and accelerates injury recovery. FIR lamp is available for directed infrared energy to heal wounds, treat acne, sunburn, skin infections, and to provide pain relief to specific muscles or joints.

Your lymphatic system plays an important role in removing excess fluid, supporting immune function, and maintaining healthy tissue. When lymphatic flow slows, fluid can accumulate, contributing to swelling, feelings of heaviness, and discomfort.

Lymphatic Enhancement Therapy is a gentle, relaxing treatment designed to stimulate healthy lymphatic circulation. By encouraging the movement of excess fluid through the lymphatic system, this therapy may help reduce swelling, support recovery, and promote your body’s natural healing processes.

Patients often choose lymphatic therapy to help with:

  • Swelling or fluid retention
  • Recovery after surgery or injury*
  • General wellness and immune support
  • Feelings of heaviness or fatigue
  • Chronic inflammation and tissue congestion

Because the benefits are cumulative, many patients experience the greatest improvement with a series of treatments.

Treatment Options

30-minute session
Targeted treatment for the upper body or a specific area of concern.

60-minute session
Comprehensive full-body lymphatic enhancement.

The trigger point is a contracted unit of the muscle fiber called a sarcomere. The contraction causes decreased blood flow resulting in oxygen and nutrient starvation and a build up of toxic waste in that segment of muscle. When the trigger point is “active” you will have pain; when it is “latent” you many not feel pain until pressure is applied at the site. A session of trigger point pressure release therapy may include any of the following components: medical history and muscle testing fascia release, trigger point pressure release techniques, heat application, cold laser application, supportive taping, percussion, posture evaluation, and home stretch program.
