Ozone is administered through a small catheter into the rectum to provide similar benefits to MAH, but it is less invasive (does not require intravenous access) and can have stronger effects on gastrointestinal disorders. Vaginal insufflation is done by infusing ozone through a small catheter that can be placed by the patient to address a variety of pelvic issues.
